DIRECTIONS TO ST ELIZABETHS CHURCH, MINSTERACRES: From Corbridge From the centre of the village, pass the Shell garage on your left, and take the B6530 out towards “Newcastle A69”. Turn RIGHT at the large roundabout, signposted “The South, Darlington and Riding Mill – A68”. Following the A68, go straight on at the next roundabout. (towards “South, Darlington”). Follow this road for approx 4 miles uphill. Watch for a dip in the road where you will drive over a crossroads, as approx 400 yards past this crossroads, you will need to take the first turning to the RIGHT signposted to “Minsteracres Monastery”. Enter under a stone archway. It is a long driveway and mind the cattle grids! You will see the monastery to your LEFT. Park as directed by ushers, around the church courtyards. Click here for a map to Minsteracres from Corbridge From Slaley Hall Hotel Exit the hotel and at the end of the drive turn RIGHT. Drive 1.5 miles up the road, look out for a stone wall appearing on the LHS, take a sharp LEFT turn through a gap in this wall (ignoring sign saying PRIVATE as this is the back entry through to the Monastery).
