FROM LONDON AND THE SOUTH:
London to Newcastle is approx 290 miles and you will need to allow minimum 6 hours for the drive.
Take the A1(M) North to Newcastle. As you approach Newcastle, look for signs to HEXHAM – WEST via the A69. At a large roundabout you will turn LEFT off the A1 and onto A69. Stay on the A69 for approx 11 miles. You will then come to a roundabout. If travelling to Corbridge take the second exit, signed “Corbridge”. To get to Slaley, take the first exit signed “The South and Darlington – A68”.
